The Università Politecnica delle Marche (Nicolò Ciuccoli) presented the DiveSafe paper “A novel DPV as a holistic platform for real-time physiological status assessment of divers” at the MED2021 – 29th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation, which took place in June 22-25 2021 (BARI, PUGLIA, ITALY).

This year’s theme of the conference was related to smart cities and smart systems. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all presentations were made through online videoconference.

The DiveSafe presentation focused on the design and validation of the wearable sensors to real-time monitor the diver’s medical status; in terms of the diver’s motherboard and the integration with glycemia, breathing and heart-rate sensors.
